Woolacombe went the dozen at home to Lynton Reserves, who cause was not helped by losing Richard Badham with a dislocated finger in the fifth minute and he had to be driven to hospital by substitute Mark Bithell.
They managed to keep Woolacombe at bay for 25 minutes, but then they were rolled over 12-0 with goals by Andy Woodman (2), Paddy Weathers, Matt Lambert, Dan Wright (2), Marc Churchill (3), Chay Isaac (2) and Andy Ley. Substitute Wright came off the bench to score the first of his brace with 10 seconds and centre back Marc Churchill hit his first three goals for the club.
This brought the Woolacombe tally to 25 goals in their past two games!
Barnstaple FC eased through to the next round with a 7-1 win away to Braunton Thirds.
Leading 4-0 at half-time, they gave away an own goal before coming back with three more of their own.
Scorers were Connor Nash (2), Maurice Charley (2), Keith McClure, Sam Phillips and Andy Vernon.
It was close between Hartland and Fremington Reserves until just after half-time.
Hartland were 3-2 down at the break, but then Fremington missed a penalty and the tables turned as Hartland pulled away to a 6-3 win, their goals coming from Richard Davey, Joe Deacon, Adam Symons (2), Danny Slee and Jack Coleman.
Clovelly’s Rob Kearney had to take it on the chin as his side let a lead slip and lost 2-1 at home to Torridgeside Reserves.
The home side started brightly and went 1-0 ahead with a goal by Nick Brazier in the first 20 minutes. But Sam Pett levelled the scores just before half-time and midway through the second half a Torridgeside shot hit Kearney in the face and was deflected into the net for an own goal.
Equalizers also came from behind to beat High Bickington 4-2. High Bick took an early lead through Tom Sanders, but were pulled back to 1-1 at the break with an Equalizers equaliser by Matthew Mitchell. The Equalizers then opened a 3-1 gap thanks to two far-post headed goals by Matt Hawkins. Ben Prosser put High Bick back in contention, but a late 20-yard strike by substitute Luke Phillips gave Equalizers their fourth to make the game safe.
The Northside game against Follygate was cancelled due to the weather.
