There were goals galore in the North Devon Premier Division on Saturday, including 10 each for Boca Seniors and Torrington.

Boca relied on clinical finishing and a masterclass from Jake Crush to hit double figures against Shebbear.

Crush scored two, but had a hand in much of what Boca created and added the extra creativity and urgency that the team has lacked so far this season.

Strike partner Craig Sandle scored four, Ciaron Lishman scored two and there were singles from Ryan Crompton and Kurt Bayliss.

Matt Bryce scored four for Torrington, who brushed aside 10-men Barnstaple FC with 10 of their own.

Nathan Delaune hit a hat-trick and there were singles for Kai Dymond, Shane Shadrick and substitute Lewis Hookway.

Braunton ended league leader Torridgeside’s 100 per cent start to the season with a 3-0 win. Ryan Hawkes, Nathan Knight and Joe Seldon did the damage for Braunton.

There was a hat-trick for Gary Clarke in Bradworthy’s 4-1 win at Park United. Tudor Placinta also scored for Bradworthy, while Jack Smallridge scored the consolation for Park.

Cassian Blackmoore and Callum Norman both scored two each for Ilfracombe Town in a 5-1 win at North Molton. Peter Varley also scored for ‘Combe, while Sam Phillips was on target for the Stags.

In the day’s other result, Shamwickshire Rovers beat Appledore Reserves 5-0.

Teams will turn their attention to knock-out football this weekend as the first round of the Brayford Cup gets under way.
