The battle is on for the Intermediate One runners-up spot as champions Barnstaple FC pasted Hartland 5-0 to tighten the second place race.
Midfielder Sam Phillips tore through the gaps to net a hat-trick. Connor Nash and Stuart McKinnon added the others.
Torridgeside Reserves took advantage to leapfrog Hartland into second place. Northside Atlantic conceded midweek points to Torridgeside, who followed up with a 5-0 win at Braunton 3rds on Saturday with goals by Steve Reed, Andy Stevens (2), Jethro Kimber and an own goal.
Landkey also kept up the pressure, following a 4-1 midweek win over Braunton 3rds, with a 5-1 victory at home to Clovelly.
Landkey goals came from Wayne Thomas (2), Connor White, Steve Folland (pen) and substitute Jimmy Ousley, with Nick Brazier replying for Clovelly.
Sporting Barum’s brave bid to get off the bottom foundered as they went down 7-1 to Woolacombe midweek.
Victory in their previous three games had given Sporting hope of stepping up a rung of the ladder. But the wheels came off as they fell 4-1 behind at the break and then saw their keeper red carded and lost a full-back. Alan Brettel scored their only goal.
Struggling for players, Northside Atlantic had to concede to Fremington midweek.
They entertained Ilfracombe 3rds on Saturday and dipped 4-1. Tom Gleeson cancelled out an early Combe strike from the penalty spot, but they finally lost out to the Woodcock brothers, Colin scoring three and John one for Combe.
