EVERY little helps, but unfortunately, a brand new supermarket kit deal wasn't quite enough to stop Braunton FC spinning out of the Devon Premier County Cup on Saturday. But despite a 2-1 home defeat against West Peninsular side Liverton United, the club is still celebrating a fantastic £500 boost from new Braunton supermarket Tesco.Representatives from the store made the short trip to Lobb Field to line up with the team for a quick pre-kick-off picture. Tesco Braunton services manager Maggie Morgan said the store was delighted to be able to help a local club."Tesco is keen to put something back into the community and we hope that this inspires the team to go on and achieve great things," she said.Manager Mark Harris also thanked Travis Perkins Braunton for supplying players with jackets, and JBG Roofing for supplying polo shirts.
