Braunton extended their lead at the top of the North Devon Gazette Football League Premier this weekend with a 6-0 win over Shamwickshire.Brauntons lead is now six points, with Torridgeside not playing over the weekend. There were big wins for Shebbear and Fremington this weekend. Shebbear went to Vicarage Field and beat Torrington 4-1 on Saturday, with goals coming from Shaun Slugget and James Vanstone, with Jedd Peschke picking up two. Fremington beat Boca Seniors 4-2 on Saturday thanks to two goals from Simon Larcombe with Andy King and Josh Robinson also scoring. In the Senior, hat-tricks for Matt Chubb and Jordan Evans helped Georgeham and Croyde to an 8-1 win over Chivenor. Mike Symmonds and Raith Whattingham also scored in the win. Pilton Academicals got themselves a third consecutive win, beating Woolacombe 4-1. Greg Holland scored two, with Adam Gregory and Dan Puffitt also finding the net. But Pilton werent able to move above Torridgeside Reserves, who beat North Molton Reserves 5-0 at Donnacroft. Sporting Barum took their goal difference over 100 thanks to a 3-1 win over Equalizers in Intermediate One. Matt Deakin scored two for Barum, with Lee Eate also netting. Braunton still hold on to the top spot; they beat South Molton 8-0 on Saturday. Saturday saw the battle of the Lions in Intermediate Two, with Appledore taking on Northam. Appledore came out on top, winning 8-0, with Tom Gleeson scoring a hat-trick. Northam then had the misfortune of facing Ilfracombe Town Thirds on Sunday, with Ollie Coles and James Harker scoring hat-tricks. Fremington Reserves were in fine form, putting nine past Woolsery, with Rick Jeffery netting three.
