BRATTON Fleming eased into the next round of the Devon Sunday Senior Cup with a convincing 5-1 win over Rose and Crown on Sunday.Liam Monsell opened the scoring for the home side after 25 minutes of the game, played in wet and muddy conditions on Bratton's "top pitch". And despite a good response by an unfamiliar-looking Rose and Crown side, things stayed that way until two minutes after the half-time break, Matt Hunt finding the net after a superb run and lay off by Lee Francis.Three minutes, later Nick Muge made it 3-0. Matt Hunt got his second on 70 minutes. Among those playing well for Crown were Darren Monk, who played in an unfamiliar position and responded with his best performance of the season. His side did manage to pull one back with a well-taken Ryan Isaac goal, but Bratton made it 5-1 through Aaron Richmond a minute later.With the Robins' 8-2 division two win over Real Tuff the only other game to escape the weather, there are lots of changes to next week's match programme.Devon County Cup postponements mean that PVs will play Dynamo Sandpiper in the senior cup, and Barnstaple Ammies will play Stagedoor in the supplementary cup this weekend.In the league, J&A Cameras Veterans and Bratton Fleming will both be hoping to pull further away from rivals PVs, who are playing cup football.In Division Two, Anchor Chiefs could go third with a win against Real Tuff.
