BRATTON Fleming kept their Sunday football league and cup double hopes alive with a thrilling last-gasp victory to clinch the Wrey Arms Division One title on the last league game of the 2007\/08 season.Only a win would be enough for Bratton to snatch the crown from rivals Dynamo Yamz. They stormed to a 6-3 victory at a wet and windy Brimlands, racing out of the blocks to go 2-0 up inside the first 16 minutes, Matt Hunt scoring two of his four goals for the morning.Determined Dynamo clawed their way back into the game, going in at the break level at 2-2.Hunt scored two more in the second half before Danny Finch helped Bratton to pull away again, and Daryl Spry sealed the win with an 89th minute finish."At 2-2, Dynamo thought they were going to take it, but we wanted it more," club secretary Sandra Gooding told the Gazette."At 4-3, they came back at us for a while but we soaked up the pressure well and still broke out and scored more goals."It was a fantastic team effort," she added.Bratton now face J&A in the Division One League Cup final on April 13, at Mill Road, kick-off 1pm.
