Bideford were 8-1 winners in the South West Womens Football League Western Division match at the Sports Ground, a result that keeps them third in the table. Ellis opened the scoring after seven minutes, who finished well after Sam Ayres slipped the ball through from out wide. Shona Ardy doubled the lead, following up after a couple of blocked shots from the Robins inside the box to finish from a tight angle. Ellis converted a one-on-one minutes later to make it 3-0, and a thumping finish from Leanne Cording gave the Robins a commanding lead at the break. Rohanna Little drove down the right wing before pulling the ball back for Cording, who smashed the ball in from 20 yards. Ellis completed her hat-trick minutes into the second half after a free kick from Little before Caz Parsons got in on the act with two quick goals. The result was rounded off when a cross from Ellis went in off a Weston defender. The visitors got a consolation goal in the games final minutes through Ellison Roberts. Next up for Bideford is a trip to fourth-placed Alphington Ladies on Sunday.
