A fine first half at the Sports Ground saw the Robins do what was needed to seal all three points. They opened the scoring early. Beth Ellis gave Bideford the lead with a calm lob over an onrushing keeper with four minutes on the clock. Alice Beresford smashed in a second after a good team move which saw Hannah Neve, Ellis and Rohanna Little combine before Little found Beresford. Neve got on the score sheet with Bidefords third with a great individual goal after being slipped through. The Robins had further chances in the second half, but were unable to capitalise. The win took Bideford above Plympton in the Western Division after their rivals drew 3-3 at league leaders Plymouth Argyle Ladies Reserves. Bideford are at home again on Sunday, with Bude making the trip up the A39 to the Sports Ground. Kick off is at 2pm.
