Not to be outdone by double figure wins in other divisions, Intermediate Two was also firing on all cylinders in front of goal on Saturday.

Big wins came courtesy of Fremington Reserves, who hit 12 past Merton Reserves without reply, and Combe Martin Reserves, who were also watertight in an 11-0 win at home to Putford Reserves.

At Merton, nearly every Fremmy player found the net – nine names gracing the scoresheet, led by a Jake Barwick hat-trick.

Neil Armstrong scored two and the rest came via Ben Ferne, James Galliford, Ricky Jeffery, Luke Ovey, Mark Sanders, Matt Smart and Kevin Waters.

Tom Gleeson scored both goals for Appledore Lions in a 2-0 win at home to Georgeham and Croyde Reserves.

In the day’s other result, Ilfracombe Town Thirds beat Hartland Reserves 6-2 on the road.
