Barnstaple Town players turned out to show their support for the Everything Ellie charity before Saturday’s home match against Cribbs.
Players wore new training T-shirts sporting the logo of the charity, set up in memory of Barnstaple teenager Ellie Easton, who died in March, aged 16.
Big hearted players also donated their match wages to the charity, which offers adults and children with life threatening illnesses the chance to spend quality time together at a beach hunt on Saunton Sands.
The charity is particularly close to players Aaron and Jed Harper-Penman, who are both cousins of Ellie.
Ellie’s dad, Chris Easton, said: “Thank you to Barry Yeo, the team and Barnstaple Town Football Club for their continued support with our charity, and well done on their win to Cribbs.”
The charity is holding a winter ball at the Portmore Golf Club on November 28. For tickets, call 07900 106327.
