BUCKLAND Brewer must now wait to see if they will make the step up a division next term.

They finished their programme with a 2-2 midweek draw against challengers Georgeham Reserves, Aiden Clarke and Arran Brookes scoring their goals.

But, after two decisive wins in a week, Barnstaple FC Reserves can now leapfrog into second place if they win their final two games.

Barnstaple followed a 6-0 midweek win over Woolsery Reserves with another 6-0 result at home to South Molton Reserves on Saturday.

Keith McClure hit a hat-trick against Molton and the other goals came from Callum Goss (2) and Tony Burgess.

Already champions, Braunton 4ths finished 12 points clear at the top following a 14-goal weekend without reply.

They beat North Molton 3rds 9-0 with goals by Alan Woodcock (3), Ben Paul (3), Matt Bull, Oliver Coles and Sebastian Latham, notching their 100th of the season en route. The 4ths followed up with a 5-0 win away to Hartland Reserves on Sunday, all five coming from Ben Paul.

After spending much of his time as substitute, Paul has celebrated his recent full-time call-up with 13 goals in four games!

Chittlehampton Reserves emulated their first team’s success by also winning 5-0 away to Lynton Reserves with goals by Pete Underhill (2), Ross Johnson and Elliot Smith (2).

Anchor Chiefs Reserves have come good towards the end of the season with back to back wins.

They gained the club’s biggest win with an 11-2 midweek result over South Molton Reserves with goals by Neil Challis (5), Shayne Voisey (3), Dan Stubbing, Ben Roy and an OG.

Saturday brought a 3-1 result at home to Georgeham Reserves . Scorers were Matt Gordon, Joe Sherman and Neil Challis.
