GOLF professional Mike Wilson is adding a new facet to the Gazette sports pages by sharing his tips with readers in coming weeks.Mike, 28, is one of two professionals at the Royal North Devon Golf Club, where he teaches daily. He has played the game since he was just 10 years old and became a professional at the early age of 18, starting at Oak Manor in Taunton.Among his pupils Mike numbers players who have reached scratch or better and some who have got into county teams. They include young Georgina Snow of Northam, who has been included in the national junior squad and will train with it in Spain at the end of this month.Football is another of Mike's interests and he had trials with Sheffield Wednesday and Notts County when both were Premier Division clubs. But golf is his first love and he always wanted to become a professional, said Mike.
