LOWLY Uplyme upset the form book in the D Division when they defeated promotion chasers Hatherleigh.Uplyme sealed a four-wicket victory in the first of two 'extra' overs the hosts had given them after they had declared their innings early.Hatherleigh had reached 244 for nine when they decided to declare. The highest individual score came from Houston Engel (61) whilst other contributions came from Richard Tidball (48), Simon Gillespie (26), Sean Forrester (24), Andy Bennett (22) and Mark Lake (22). Steve Batey claimed three wickets for the visitors but the star of the Uplyme bowling effort was Adam Caddy with 4-22. Ben Whittington (59) and Phil Norris (52) together with 42 from skipper Ashley Caddy helped the visitor's claim their four wickets win in the first of those two extra overs.
