In recent years the club has raised more than £35,000 for local charities. The golf day attracts competitors from all over the area and the club is hoping for a big turn-out this year. There are still opportunities for more interested golfers. It will be a three-ball Stableford team event, with full handicap, the best two balls to count on each hole. There will be prizes for the top six teams, plus mystery prizes.
