BARUM U13s overpowered a big Minehead team 56-0 despite have some regulars missing.

Try scorers were, Barny Meadowcroft, Steven Trawin, Issy Hydleman, Kipper Sluman,Bradley Campbell and Tom Karslake. Robbie Hume and Meadowcroft converted.

Barum 12s had the strength in depth to honour two fixtures.

Some of the squad went to Reading to play in the London Irish Premiership Cup competition and some played a derby against Bideford.

Bideford had larger lads on the park, but Barum beat them 31-14. Try scorers were Luke Harris (2), Cameron Eckford, Max Bridges and Harry Ashford. Conversions Harris, Nick Evans and Alex Roberts.

The travelling U12s were slow to start at Reading, but did enough to qualify from their pool in second place for the knockout stages.

Barum won twice, the lost to Richmond. Try scorers were The try scorers were Robert Squires (3), Matt Giblett and Jon Engelking.

Sadly, the competition was washed out by bad weather before reaching a conclusion.

Barnstaple U11's had an early start on Sunday to be ready to play a festival at Redingensians starting at 9am!

Barnstaple's first game was a hard-fought draw against Farnham. Commitment levels were high in tough conditions and were typified by a try saving tackle by George Hill-Anning.

In the second game Barum's confidence grew and they beat Bracknell 5-0 with a try from Billy Pennyfield. Abbey were convincingly defeated 10-0 with tries by Danny Southworth and Nathan Fouche.

Barum finished won their group and were due to move on to the finals until a deluge of rain terminated proceedings.
