Tickets for the event go on sale on tomorrow (Thursday)

The Croyde Ocean Triathlon will be back for a third year in 2017.

Tickets for next year's event, which is sponsored by Hyundai, go on sale from 8am on Thursday.

Individual tickets for the race on Sunday July 2 will cost £65, with a ticket for a relay team of three costing £90.

Proceeds from next year's event will go to Children's Hospice South West.

Anyone taking part in the triathlon to raise funds for the charity will be entered into a golden ticket draw, with three solo and three relay tickets up for grabs for anyone pledging to raise £250.

The Olympic distance triathlon features a 1.5km swim at Putsborough before a 40km bike ride to Fullabrook wind farm.

A 12km run ends the race, with a route passing through Putsborough, Saunton and Croyde Bay.

There are 300 places available for the event, which is expected to sell out.
