Riverside Judo Club members scored four out of four in medal wins at the British Judo Council Open Competition.
Already a veteran of many a national competitions at just 11 years old, Mark Wild fought well to reach the final where he threw is opponent with an excellent Uchimata to win gold in the boys under 40kg weight category.
Chris Rayner also won gold in only his second national competition, showing much improved form to win convincingly in the men’s final for the Kyu Grade under 73kg category.
Returning to national competition after taking some time off, Samuel Hill won through to the final, where he was narrowly beaten to take silver in boys under 55kg.
In her first national competition, Lucy Vizor took a bronze in the 14-15 years 60-65kg category after fighting in a pool of many more experienced fighters.
