BIDEFORD U16s got over a slow start to beat Torrinton 36-0 in a floodlit friendly at King George's.It took Bideford 25 minutes to get off the mark and even then it wasn't easy for them as Torrie never stopped trying,Bideford's tries were scored by Ryan Brend (3), Christian de Banks (2) and George Snell (1). Brend kicked two conversions and Adam Crouch one more.Bideford U8s played South Molton twice on Sunday morning and ran out winners both times.Top try scorers were Daniel Morris, Owen Seward and Jack Jarvis, all of whom made great runs and scored several tries due to the fantastic supporting play of team-mates Jakob Behnke and Alex BoneThe team contained three lads playing up an age group - Nicholas Bone, Tom Guymer and Thomas Shovelton - who all did well.The U7s also defeated South Molton and look forward to their tag game at Launceston this Sunday.
