Devon Dumplings failed to set a competitive target in an all-day game at West Buckland School Early batsmen threw their wickets away with reckless shots on a wicket of inconsistent bounce. Only Dan Bowser showed any resolution, facing 170 balls for 68 before he was last man out. Heuston Engel contributed a quick 21. Lunching at 98 for eight the later batters did well to hoist the total to 143 in 56.1 overs, 44 runs coming from the last two wickets.
