Bideford Bombers BMX club blasted their way up the South West Regional BMX racing rankings with a string of victories last Sunday. The club won six races across the varied classes, with Josh Screech landing a confident first place in the novice class A final. The expert A final was won by Harrison Pascoe White with both Lewis Ross and Troy Elworthy of the club close behind. Their victory was followed by a dominant tie between Darren Phipps, Fletcher Powe and Flynn Elworthy who all placed joint first in the B final, marking a repeat of their round six successes. The event was finished by another first place victory from Rebecca Gohl, who also scored a win on July 8. Many other Bombers riders placed highly across the classes and ages, marking an overall good day for the club. Bombers next regional race will be held at home in Bideford on August 11. BMX training is held at the club on Tuesday and Thursday from 6.30pm-8.30pm and Saturday from 2.00pm onwards. For more information contact Justin on 07800 854526.
