Bideford, who went into the game clinging on to faint hopes of dodging the drop from South West One West, came from behind to lead 24-14 with nearly an hour played. It had been 12-all at half time with tries for Bideford pair Dean Folland and Simon Bright cancelling out away scores by Filip Percia and Rob Parsons. Bideford upped the tempo with a couple of tries by Pete Bowes in the centre and prop Paul Thomas, the former converted by Chris Snell. Then Teignmouth woke from their slumbers. Henry Raby, Percia and Will Sowden jogged in for tries with Faolan Lidstone adding all the extras. Relegation is inevitable now for Bideford, who have started the process of looking to recruit a new coach. After a season in the post, Dave Kimberley has told the club he does not wish to continue. Bideford are away to Thornbury this Saturday for their final game of the campaign.
