The sixth Revival Shoot between Bideford, Okehampton and Fonthill Rifle Clubs saw the Bideford A team victorious and Bideford members also take first and second places in the individual competition.

The shoot was set up in 2007 as a gesture of thanks to clubs who had helped Bideford with sponsorship and has continued on an annual basis.

This year the hosts were Okehampton. The event was set out as both an individual and team competition, starting with two cards fired by each shooter against their own chosen start number, followed by club teams of three shooting one more card against a team start.

Ann Travis achieved the two 95s she needed from her chosen start of five per card to record the only perfect 200 of the day. There were several shooters gaining 199 – Keith Travis, Pete Thomson and Mog Thomson for Bideford as well as John Chiverton for Okehampton – so second place was decided by graduated gauges before going to Bideford’s Mog Thomson.

Second place in the team event went to Okehampton A by a single point, with Bideford B- Yvonne Hoile, Michael Coombs and Keith Travis - two further points behind.
