PACK power paved the way for Bideford to beat Wadebridge 56-6.

Bideford had the bonus point wrapped up before half time with the forwards doing most of the damage.

After the break there was further carnage with stand-off Ollie Wickett calling the tune.

“It was our forward dominance that did it, especially in the first half,’ said director of rugby James Morris.

“We scored five tries in the first half and three of them – Norman, Bright and Dennis – were from the forwards.

“After that I thought Wickett had his best game of the season for us.

‘He was late coming into the side, but he finally seemed to have knocked the ring rust off.

The full tally of try scorers was Sam Olde (2), Richard Norman, Simon Bright, George Snell, John Mills , Matt Dennis (2) and Mike Buckland.

Bideford are away to North Petherton this weekend.
