BIDEFORD Darts League players made their mark at the Kent Open competition on Saturday.Richard Dennis and Merryl Jarman of Port Oles won the Mixed Pairs KO competition while Martin Davey and Lee Watts of Gremlins were narrowly beaten 3-2 in the final of the Open KO Pairs by England international Paul Hogan and Paul Gibbs.John Imrie of Gremlins also suffered a narrow 3-2 defeat at the hands of Peter 'One Dart' Manley in the semi-finals of the KO Singles, missing a vital double to win the game.Manley went on the take the title with two 12-dart legs and a 13-darter. * * *The Ilfracombe League's Stacey Cup competition has reached the semi-final stage.Quarter-final results were: Same Old Faces 11, Usual Suspects 12; Sasquatches 12, Piper Crew 7; Stage Door 12, Sandpit Bulls 8.Top finishes were: Chris Berry (Same Old Faces) 144; Craig Whiteford (Sasquatches) 143; Ian Meredith (Usual Suspects) 102. * * *Braunton Darts League Threes Cup has been won by Russell Jenkins, Tim Morgan and Charlie Crossley with a 3-0 victory in the final over Dave Moore, Clive Johnson and Ian Gilbert.Semi-final results: Bryan Lye, Barrie Jenkinson and Maurice Ganderton 0, Dave Moore, Clive Johnson and Ian Gilbert 2; Eddie Hardy, Peter fry and Steve ward 1, Russell Jenkins, Tim Morgan and Charlie Crossley 2.
