Bideford have less than two weeks to sort their injury issues out before the Devon Cup semi-final showdown at Okehampton on Easter Sunday.

Depleted Bideford saw a winning position snatched from their grasp last time out against Teignmouth, who stuttered and stammered their way to a 28-25 win, despite having a man sent off with 20 minutes to go.

Bradley Goaman, Bideford's team manager, had no doubts about the reasons for the defeat.

"When everyone is fit we are a good side, the problem is getting everyone on the pitch," said Goaman.

"With our full side we would have beaten Teignmouth hands down.

"We did well to go 25-21 up after being 21-5 down at half-time. Their quick winger took it away from us with a try near the end."

Mike Smith, Dean Folland and Shaun East were the Bideford try scorers. Chris Snell took the kicks.

Bideford are away to Thornbury in the league this Saturday.
