Bideford have to pick themselves up after the 31-15 South West One defeat at Cullompton for a tough game ahead. Second-placed Drybrook, who have only lost once all season, are the visitors this Saturday Bideford wont want reminding when they visited Drybrook back in September they were thrashed 113-7. It was a depleted Bideford side that travelled to Gloucestershire and has been written off as a freak result. Even so Bideford will have to play better than they did at Cullompton to get much out of the game. Having been 12-10 up at half time against Cully, Bideford lost their way in the second half. In the first half we dominated at Cully and played some outstanding rugby and should have been 10 points clear at half time, said Bideford team manager Bradley Goaman. We were not clinical enough in the second half when stupid penalties and basic errors cost us. Lofty centre Rob Elliott bagged both Bideford tries. Chris Snell kicked a conversion and a penalty.
