Members of the club were joined by former member and WBO Inter-Continental champion Tommy Langford at the presentation.

Bideford Amateur Boxing Club celebrated a great season for the club with their annual presentation.

The season has seen the club host three shows and compete in 80 bouts, travelling around the country in the process.

Tommy Langford was at the presentation, fresh from winning his WBO Inter-Continental Middleweight title.

Awards were given for improvement, achievement and dedication, as well as a few special awards.

In the junior section, Freddie Wright won the award for improvement, with Callum Cunningham winning the award for dedication.

Jacob Stevenson won the achievement award for winning seven fights out of nine over the season.

Grace Short took the achievement award for the girls for stepping into the ring for her first competitive bout.

Her brother Josh won the Durrant Belt for the best performance at the home show.

In the senior section, Grant Stone won the award for improvement, with Jack Langford being rewarded for his dedication to the club in the wake of an injury-hit season.

Andy Short won the award for achievement after boxing on the same bill as his son and daughter and staying undefeated.

Gabriel Silva won the Bideford v Barnstaple award for the best win against their neighbouring club, after he defeated David Currey in three rounds at Barnstaple Rugby Club.

Aiden Vitali was awarded Bideford captaincy on the back of a season where he won the England Boxing Junior Development title.
