Barnstaple hit the road to Hertfordshire on Saturday when they travel to Old Albanians in National Two South.

Barum have yet to win on the road this season as both their wins – against Westcliff and Rochford Hundred – have been on Pottington turf.

A league re-organisation is due at the end of the current season, which is expected to include the creation of an extra division at National Two level.

No details have been released by the RFU yet, but there is a danger that finishing too close to the bottom of the existing division they are in could result in Barum dropping a level to the South West Premier Division.

Barnstaple are one off the bottom right now and it will be a big task at Old Albanians, who currently sit fifth in the table. Westcliff are currently bottom and still seeking their first win, while Worthing are top of the pile.
