BARNSTAPLE U13s came out on top in a three-way tie up with Bideford and Tiverton.In the first match, Barum defeated Bideford 17-0 with tries going to Jakob Trott (2) and Joe Dimelow. The second match against Tiverton also ended in a 17-0 win. Chris Kalisz opened the scoring. He was followed by powering tries from Trott and Theo Seel Kent. Barnstaple U12s took a while to wake up before scoring eight tries to one in two games against Tivvy. Try scorers were Bradley Cambpell, Joseph Caley, Ross Clayton Nathanial Bayet, Zac Davey, Sam Roberts (2) and Robbie Hume (2), conversions by Robbie Hume and Isaac Hydleman Barnstaple U11s played at Tiverton on an extremely wet and muddy pitch. The conditions inhibited Barum's normal free-flowing style and the slippery ball was a real leveller. Barnstaple came out 15-5 winners in a tight game. Try scorers were Tom Clark (2) and Alex Lomas.The U10s travelled to Tiverton and put in an excellent performance in challenging conditions. They ran out clear winners with tries by Rafe Yewdall, Otis Llewelyn, Jono Slee and Joel Anderson.Barnstaple U9s played two games against Tiverton. They won the first game 55-5 and the second 20-10. The try scorers were Ross Swales, Josh O' Toole, Flynn Elworthy, Harry Wilson Palmer (5) and Charlie Hannan (7).l Barnstaple 2nd XV made the trip to Brixham worthwhile by bringing home a 26-15 Merit Table win.A high penalty count plagued barum at times, but when they got it down they were too strong for Brixham.Tries were scored by Richard Ballard, Martin Elkins, Adrian Kingdom and Neil Giddy, who also kicked the conversions.
