Opener Saunders made 81 and Moore 90 in Barnstaples 45-over total of 248 for three. Moore and Saunders put on 180 for the second wicket. The stand ended when Rob Hutchings (3-26) accounted for Moore. Paul Schiller chipped in with a brisk 24 before the overs ran out. Chardstock slumped to 16 for three in reply, recovered to 92 for four thanks to an Alex Watson half-century, then collapsed to 196 all out. Chardstock lost their last six wickets for 14 runs with Saunders capping a man-of-the-match performance with four wickets for 12 runs. Victory took Barnstaple ahead of North Devon II, who replace them in the bottom three after losing by three wickets at home to Exmouth II. James Thomas top scored as North Devon made 169 for nine in their 45 overs. The only significant partnership was the opening one of 54 between Alfie Huxtable (29) and Joe Kelly (22). Wickets were shared with two each for Ollie Pugsley and Luke Davies and three for Lawrence Greenway. At 100 for one with Louis Morison (68) still there, Exmouth looked like favourites. Three wickets for David Hartley (3-37) made it a different game at 100 for four. Greenway (40) and Ryan Schaufler (24) put on 69 to end any doubt about the outcome.
