Folk supergroup Show of Hands will be creating summer festival vibes outdoors at The Big Sheep (in association with The Plough Arts Centre) on Saturday 23 July at 7.30pm.
Steve Knightley and Phil Beer are returning to the duo format that launched their stellar careers over thirty years ago.
Audiences will be treated to the usual ‘Show of Hands’ classics like ‘Cousin Jack’, rousing festival anthems, instrumental virtuosity and stunning harmonies from two masters of their craft.
With The Big Sheep’s bar and catering on site, all you need to add is your own seating and blankets – and prepare to have a good dance in the fresh summer air!
Seated pods are also available on first come first served basis.
The duo will be supported by North Devon singer-songwriter Jenna Witts, who is a free spirit with an effortless natural talent.
Jenna has a wealth of recording and touring experience behind her including 5 nation-wide tours with Steve Knightley (Show of Hands) as well as performing at ‘Show Of Hands’ sell out concert at The Royal Albert Hall.
Jenna has also toured with Mercury prize nominee Seth Lakeman and supported Port Issac’s Fisherman’s Friends. She’s also played alongside other musicians including Elkie Brooks, REEF, Vonda Shepard, Hazel O'Connor, Newton Faulkner, The Noisettes, Nerina Pallot.
