Sharon leads All Whites to win

SHARON Cloak led All Whites to victory over six man Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks in the North Devon Netball League.

The Division 2 game was close throughout, but Sharon’s accurate shooting enabled All Whites to pull away to a five goal win.

Division 3 also hosted some close matches. Venners Bakery Adders and Reeds Silverside exchanged the lead on numerous occasions, but Venners’ Gracey Woolway proved too strong in the final quarter, giving them the narrow victory.

The outstanding team this week was Carol Anne Golds. They have struggled so far this season, but everything clicked this week and Hannah Evans demonstrated good timing, movement and shooting to net them 55 goals.

On Saturday in the county league Venner Vipers host Exeter at Kingsley School (1.30pm) and Titans host Wasps at Chulmleigh Community College (1.30pm). Carol Anne Diamonds travel to face Bournemouth in the regional league.
