'Serious' crash involving van and car - A39 closed both ways near Bideford

The A39 is closed near Bideford after a ‘serious incident’ involving a car and a van earlier today.

The crash, between Abbotsham Cross and Bucks Cross, was reported to the police at around 9.10am today (June 16).

The A39 is closed in both directions as specialist police officers forensically examine the scene.

Delays are expected and motorists are advised to find alternative routes where possible.
