As if a weekend full of Jubilee festivities wasn’t enough, North Devon locals will also catch sight of the world-renowned RAF display team, the Red Arrows.

After their Trooping the Colour flypast over Buckingham Palace, the Hawk fast-jet aerobatic team made their way up to the Midlands for a three-day air festival.

On Saturday, June 4, after their last performance in Alcester that morning, the team will make their way down to Paignton for the English Riviera Airshow over Torbay.

While flying down, the Red Arrows will take a detour over Devon’s skies to give residents in every corner of the county the opportunity to see them.

They will grace the skies over North Devon on Saturday afternoon, after flying above Mid Devon. Then the team will head down to Exeter Airport for a couple hours break.

The Red Arrows will then fly back into Mid Devon airspace, then up to West Devon and over to Torbay for their display – and back to Exeter for the night.

Early afternoon on Sunday, they will head back to Torbay from Exeter airport, briefly flying over Mid Devon and then back over East Devon as they fly over to London for another Buckingham Palace flypast during the Platinum Jubilee Pageant in the evening.

Here’s a full list of when and where they can be seen in Devon this weekend:
