Randall stops his man

A long drive up to Barrow-in-Furness proved well worth it for Barnstaple boxer Jimmy Randall, with victory in the 63.5kg class against Scottish opponent Derrick Skinner from Kilsyth Golden Gloves ABC.

Randall boxed off the back foot in the opening round, bringing his strong opponent on to him and then scoring with well measured left hands.

Having found his range, he started using angles to set up two phase attacks which ended with the Scotsman receiving an eight count.

The final round saw Randall take the fight to his opponent and with some heavy, clean shots landing, the referee stepped in and stopped the fight in favour of the Barnstaple man.
