Parracombe man denies wife’s murder
Man enters not guilty plea over farmhouse shooting
A NORTH Devon man has denied shooting dead his wife at their remote farmhouse.
David Leeman, 59, of Parracombe, pleaded not guilty to a charge of murder at the hearing at Exeter Crown Court.
Mr Leeman is accused of shooting mother-of-four Jennie Leeman, 44, at the family home on September 18 last year.
He was remanded in custody until his trial, which is due to start on July 2.
