Open day at Bideford fire station
BIDEFORD Fire Station will open its doors to the public on Saturday, September 4 for a day of family fun and entertainment. Activities and demonstrations are planned between 11am and 4pm and will include fire-fighters showing how they deal with situation
BIDEFORD Fire Station will open its doors to the public on Saturday, September 4 for a day of family fun and entertainment.
Activities and demonstrations are planned between 11am and 4pm and will include fire-fighters showing how they deal with situations, including rescues from a building and chip pan fires.
Children and adults will be able to get involved in the many games and activities that will be available and take part in fire-fighter barbecued cuisine and locally baked produce. Games and activities include: beat the goalie, hook the bottle, a street dance demonstration, book stall, water blaster, darts and an assortment of other activities.
There will be a raffle in aid of the Fire Service Charity. Mayor of Bideford Cllr Philip Pester will be opening the day.
