Nothing to separate Titans and Wasps

Joseph Bulmer

THERE was a warm welcome for Titans as they arrived at Crediton to play Exeter Wasps in the Devon Netball League in 24C heat.

Titans started strongly in first quarter and were 11-8 up at quarter-time.

Unforced errors then enabled Wasps to reduce the deficit to 21-19 at half-time and with Titans slipping, the Wasps buzzed 29-27 ahead at the end of the third quarter.

Changes to the team made a noticeable different in the final quarter and Titans pulled back for a 40-40 draw.

Players of the match were Katie Chaffey and Kellie Finney.

Titans’ next game is away to Bideford Venners on October 22.
