North Molton move on in Torridge Cup

NORTH Molton followed up their good Premier Division win over Ilfracombe by making progress in the Torridge Cup on Sunday, beating Putford 2-1.

Another spectacular goal provided the talking point – this time in their own net!

After a goalless opening half Alex Lane put Molton in front, only for centre half John Lloyd to own goal in style with a 30-yard back pass.

Kyson Chugg restored their lead when he slotted home after a great run down the left wing.
