NORTH Devon Table Tennis League leaders Torrington A chalked up another big win, this time against erstwhile challengers Misfits.

Although five of the games went close, only Martyn Beer managed a point against the team who even at this early stage in the season look favourites for the title.

Smugglers went one better in their demolition of Commodores, who took just six of the 36 games.

Herons surged further ahead in Division 2 with an 8-2 victory over Dolphins, with Robin Gale once again unbeaten, although Alan Pemberton let a 2-0 lead against him slip.

Untouchables won by a similar score over Hartland with Alan Briggs scoring his second successive maximum.
