Young people of Westward Ho! have created a new youth venue in the resort. Those aged 11-18 years will soon be able to enjoy a new youth club in The Pavilion building on Golf Links Road, which has been leased by Seize the Moment Ltd to provide a space for young people to meet up and socialise.Funding to pay for this new venture has been raised by young people who attend the regular Thursday night youth project at Bridge Hall in Northam. This group has worked with Seize the Moment for more than a year and wanted to have a room which could be used as a place to chill out and where they could have a safe place off the streets.Next Monday residents and young people who live in Westward Ho! are invited to The Pavilion between 7pm and 9pm to meet those who have made this youth club possible. The new club will be open every Monday night from 7-9pm and youth workers hope to offer further evenings at The Pavilion for youth projects, young bands and other youth groups. For more details contact Jane Elliott on 07773 679559 or go to www.seize-the-moment.net
