BIDEFORD Blues under-14s football team are on top of the world, unbeaten on the field this season and now resplendent in new kit.Team member and paper boy Jake England scored a winner for the side when he asked his boss Clive Lilley of Barton Tors Stores and newsagents to give his team a helping hand.Mr Lilley and his wife Bev came up trumps, sponsoring a new strip and training jackets for the side.The youngsters, from Bideford, Westward Ho!, Appledore, Northam and Parkham, immediately tried out their new look on the field on Sunday and scored an 8-1 win over SAS Hunters from Barnstaple in the North Devon Opticop League.It was their seventh straight win this season, in which they have so far scored 37 goals and conceded just 10.
