Dog walkers and well wishers are invited to join a little dog with disabilities on a Woolacombe Beach sponsored walk on Tuesday, May 7.
Poppy is a 15-year-old blind Papillon with neurological brain issues and owner Sadie Utton is travelling from Leicestershire to do the six mile walk along the beach with her.
The aim is to raise money for charitable group kevincares2018 which provides discretionary contributions to pet owners for veterinary treatment.
Of course, Poppy can't walk too far so she will do a little bit but will also be carried.
The little dog was rescued from neglect by the RSPCA and did not have the best start in life.
Sadie has already raised £400 in sponsorship and hopes to raise more.
The walk will set off from the middle beach entrance by the stream on May 7 – keep an eye on the Poppy's Adventures Facebook page for the exact timings.
