Police are appealing for information after a woman in her 60s had to be cut from her car at junction of Abbotsham Road and Belvoir Road.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman suffered serious facial injuries in a collision in Bideford.
The collision occurred at around 4.30pm yesterday (Thursday) in Abbotsham Road at the traffic light junction with Belvoir Road.
Ambulance, fire and police all attended the crash between a Honda Civic and a Citreon C4 Picasso.
The driver of the red Citroen, a woman in her 60s, sustained serious facial injuries and was trapped in the car.
She had to be cut from the vehicle by fire fighters and was taken to North Devon District Hospital.
She was later transferred to Royal Devon and Exeter. The other driver was uninjured.
Both Abbotsham Road and Belvior Road were closed until 7.35pm.
Police are urging anyone who saw the collision to contact them on 101 quoting log 0514 01/12/16.
