Arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after ‘Barnhenge’ collision which killed 20-year-old motorcyclist.

A woman arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving while unfit has been bailed.

The 28-year-old from Hampshire was arrested after a collision at Sticklepath where a motorcyclist was killed.

The motorcyclist, a 20-year-old man from Barnstaple, was involved in the crash with a silver Ford Focus while riding a green Kawasaki motorcycle.

The woman has been bailed until October. A second man arrested at the scene was released without charge.

The road was closed for around eight hours while a full forensic examination of the scene was carried out.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or seen both vehicles prior to the collision.
