Wind turbine company offers free pint to farmers and landowners

The company is offering free drinks for people attending its presentation on green energy on Tuesday.

A WIND turbine company is offering a free pint to farmers and landowners who want to hear a presentation on green energy.

Windcrop is holding the ‘Have a Drink on Windcrop’ event at The Hoops Inn at Horns Cross on Tuesday, May 21 from 7pm until 9pm.

John Ainsworth, general manager of Windcrop, will give a short presentation on the company’s 15 metre high, five kW turbines.

Amy Trevan, site assessor at Windcrop, said: “I’m really looking forward to meeting people face to face and having an informal chat with them about Windcrop over a drink.
