Following the success of last year’s event, Westmead House in Braunton is holding its second Westfest family fun day this weekend.
Residents, staff and volunteers at the Braunton Leonard Cheshire care home are looking forward to live music on Saturday from the likes of Sam Dowden, Charley Charlesworth, Shake the Geek and many more.
WestFest will also host local craft stalls, street food, inflatables and much more at the fun day being held at Braunton Cricket Club.
The event features a special visit from the Exmoor Zoo Roadshow at 3pm and aims to provide a great day out for the whole community, and entrance is free.
The day provides a wonderful opportunity for Westmead’s residents to enjoy being at the hub of their community, whilst raising valuable funds for the home.
Alex Irving, who has lived at Westmead for 19 years said: “We loved WestFest last year and can’t wait for another one.”
