Around 550 school pupils took part in a mass aerobics session for Sport Relief in Bideford on Friday.
The playground session was the culmination of an afternoon of activities at West Croft School.
Paula Figes, PE subject leader for the school, said everyone from reception to year six had spent the afternoon trying out different sports.
“They’ve all donated money and instructors from 1610 Torridge Pool came to take the session,” she said.
“Before that they have spent the afternoon trying out all sorts of different sports and activites.
“We’ve been learning the haka; doing circuit training; playing football; and taking part in high-impact aerobics.
“It’s good to get them involved in sport and enjoying it.”
At 2.30pm the pupils gathered in the playground for the giant aerobics session to end the afternoon.
The money raised will go towards helping people across the globe through various projects.
