SIR - As a regular visitor to Appledore, I was delighted to see Irsha Street tidied up.
A building that had been derelict for all the 40 years I have been visiting my family, at last reconstructed into something of use.
I am Devon born and hate to see things go to ruin. Well done to the builders for tastefully tuning it into flats - after all, old chapels are converted.
A great improvement to Appledore.
